Description
Give the gift of socks. These colorful adinkra socks with vibrant colors will certainly brighten his day! This gift is suitable for many occasions including birthday, Christmas, Fathers Day, graduation, or ‘just because’.
This is one of the socks in our Adinkra Collection. Adinkra symbols are widespread throughout Ghana. They are representations of beliefs and ideals held by the Asante (also known as Ashanti) people of Ghana. These symbols have historical and philosophical significance and were originally printed on cloth which Asante royals wore on important occasions. Since its origins of appearing on cloth, adinkra symbols are now often seen on sculptures, buildings, and furniture, among others.
